Across the country, most kids have now gone back to school. Until next summer, they’ll spend months sharing supplies, ideas and, of course, germs. While we’ve discussed some natural ways to protect a child’s health in the classroom, another approach has already delivered some incredible results.

When parents and school staff are too sick to come to work, the workplace must find ways to compensate for their absence. When kids are forced to stay home, they can fall behind on their studies. The spread of illness is more than an inconvenience, though. The 2018-2019 flu season was the longest in a decade, and tragically, some people lost their lives.
